Appealing for new members

Ruth Dunstan – ex-Leading Wren, WRNS, Solihull

I am appealing to any ex-Wrens in the Solihull area to join the Women’s Royal Naval Association, which holds a monthly meeting at the Nautical Club, Bishopgate Street, Birmingham.

If you have served in the WRNS – wartime or peacetime – the association needs you to come along once a month.

If you miss the companionship of service life and want to help by increasing our numbers, contact our secretary Mrs Valerie McMinn, 8 Laurence Grove, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton or give me a call on 0121 603 5290 for a chat.

This a picture from our gathering at the Nautical Club, Birmingham in December 2008 for our Christmas lunch.

The writer, Ruth Dunston, is wearing a blazer and is waving at you, come along and join them.
