Further to letters in November 2008 Navy News (Pingat Jasa Malaysia Medals).  I must be very lucky.

After phoning the Malaysian High Commission, they very kindly sent the medals etc. to my address - the next day by recorded delivery.  I gave them my dates, rank and number.  I didn’t even have to attend a presentation.

Perhaps others were also so lucky?
