My husband and I earlier this year visited the Far East on holiday.  We visited the US war cemetery in Manila, Philippines.

We found this grave of an English sailor and were informed that he was the only British among 17,000 American Servicemen.

We found it a very moving experience and I attach a photograph that may be of interest.
